If Matt Caughthran (the singer) is not singing in the middle of the crowd, yelling and moshing with fans in the first row… then you've tuned in to the wrong program. These Californians are crazy, in a good way. Their powerfull punk rock is definitely fresh and exciting. We discovered them during the GeneriQ Festival in Dijon and Les Eurocks had the great idea to program them a second time at the Eurocks festival. Listen to the Bronx or we'll bash your head in! hehehe.

The Bronx

The Bronx formed in 2002 in Los Angeles, California. After only twelve live performances the band signed a contract with the Island Def Jam Music Group.However, feeling as though they were not yet ready to record for a major label, the band opted to form their own label White Drugs to put out their releases. After 3 eponymous punk rock albums, they decided to make a... mariachi album on Wichita label called El Bronx (coming soon).

The Bronx s'est formé en 2002 à Los Angeles. Après seulement 12 performances live, Island Def Jam Music Group décida de les signer! Cependant, ne se sentant pas encore prêt pour les majors, The Bronx décida de monter son propre label White Drugs, sur lequel il a sorti 3 albums éponymes naviguant entre le rock et le punk hardcore. Leur prochain album sortira sur Wichita et sera un album à la sauce mariachi, intitulé très justement El Bronx!

One of the largest summer rendez-vous in France, where mainstream artists and emerging bands clash onstage. Still going strong after more than 20 years! The 2009 edition was held on July 3d, 4th and 5th.
The concert has 5 stages, out of which Grandcrew filmed shows at "the loggia" (sweet) and "the beach" (so sweet).
