Vincent Bourgeyx s scenic performances are always intimate, as you will hear in this conert @ Sunset - Sunside. With talented drummer Karl Jannuska and inventive double bass player Gildas Bocle, Vincent Bourgeyx offers us an ambitious moment of pure jazz. His fingers are crazily scanning the piano for the note that will trigger the trio harmony. Splendid.

He worked with the greatest and edgiest jazz musicians. Talented pianist, he toured the world as a student (studies at Berklee College of Music - he even won the Billboard Magazine award), as a teacher (in Japan), as a soloist or as a sideman. He worked with Jae Ira Bloom, Mark Dresser, Bobby Previte, Sylvain Beuf, Jean-Jacques Avenel or even Pierre Boussaguet. Since he came back in Paris, Vincent Bourgeyx broadens his experimentation spectrum, from cinema to writing.

Sunset - Sunside

The Sunset shapes Parisian jazz life since 1983, when it was created by Panam Fusion, an action group formed by the edgiest jazz fusion musicians of this time. Herbie Hancock, Jaco Pastorius, Didier Lockwood made the club history by throwing inspirational and rebellious jam sessions late at night. In 2001, the Sunset gave birth to the Sunside, dedicated to electronic jazz and world music while Sunside focuses on acoustic jazz. This two clubs form the vanguard of Parisian jazz life.
