La prestation de The Rodeo à  la Boule Noire était excellente ! Seule avec sa guitare, The Rodeo a enchanté le public. Timide et concentrée au début de son live, elle déroula au fil de ses titres une folk puissante, structurée et profonde tirant parfois vers la country. Pour résumer The Rodéo : Guitare sèche, mélodies et textes intimistes, à  cela un ravissant minois et une prestance sur scène évidente bref, une artiste à  suivre !

I've hidden my name. To find it, decipher the anagram THE RODEO. A word that takes you to the South of the USA, where the music I adore and love singing was born. A word as an hommage to the pioneers of folk, blues and country music. When I was a child, I discovered a treasure in my uncle's attic. Hidden among dusty vinyles and books was a slumbering guitar. It was born in the mythical 1970's and its precious wood was haunted by the spirit of those golden musical years. I didn't learn how to play it, the guitar tamed me. Stuck together it became a part of me. I write and compose ballads like fairy tales for grown-ups, fables without a moral. Throughout my lyrics, you'll meet characters, go places and feel different kinds of atmospheres. A moody girl not as tough as she looks, a boy with a love so huge it can only be shared, a lost village that feels like heaven, an ark to survive your past and start all over again. And so many other things too futile not to be important. Those little things that fill my life. I am The Rodeo, pleased to meet you.

La Boule Noire

Dancing room, cabaret, movie theatre, la Boule Noire has a hectic history.
