Les Nuits de l'Alligator, music festival originated by the Maroquinerie team in Paris is a huge festival spanning a dozen french cities.

Since 2005, the festival is both thematic and eclectic. A contradiction, you say? Not really: the programmingis all about the blues and its bad(ass) roots & weeds that created the original seen on the shores of the Mississippi river and that continue to make it thrive.

THE DUSTAPHONICS offer a new and pure sound with a unique attitude, mixing the sensuality of the original soul and rhythm n blues of the 1950s and 60s, the wild blast of 50s rock n roll/rockabilly, the freshness of the twangy surf guitar, the intensity of the 60's garage-rock along with the blue notes of jazz, the freedom of Hip hop and the dirty dancing beat of 60's Funk. The all of course done with an authentic spirit.

The Dustaphonics Sound is the latest production and creation of London based French Hispanic Ace Guitarist Yvan Showman , DJ Maestro "Healer Selecta" (Freestyle Records), Monsieur Raison D Etre Collective alias Yvan Serrano-Fontova, From a Garage Rockabilly, Surf, Soul, Blues background comes the Music of Yvan joined on vocals by Aina, a young talented British Jamaican Norwegian from London town, whose background is in Hip Hop and Drum & Bass, together they mixed up theirs musical knowledge and culture by writing some delectable and delicious feel good songs for the Intermational like minded music lovers.

Backup by ace and fantastic English musicians/ DJs from The RAISON D ETRE COLLECTIVE, DJ Jonny Drop on Drums, Dave Koor DJ Blue Movies on Piano, Simon Lovelock on Bass, the new soul sensation Aina on Vocal and of course DJ Healer Selecta El Senor Showman on Guitar.

What Dustaphonics means? Yvan is a vinyl record collector/dealer and musician since 25 years, the name Dustaphonics comes from the fact that when he digs and lookout for old records 45's in caves or warehouses, he collecting 2 things, first the dust and second, the phonic from all these old dusty waxy waxy platters and when your record label is called King A Ling, the name Dust A Phonic sound very right for a band who sound exactly like that.

King A Ling records is a cult's London independent record label and production company for The RAISON D'ETRE COLLECTIVE and HEALER SELECTA 's productions. Based in the heart of Hoxton Square/ Shoreditch in East London since late 90's. The first record 7" single was a project between Yvan Serrano (Healer Selecta) and Liam Watson (Owner of Toe Rag studio; infamous now for the White Stripes albums) the first ever 7' was THE POPCORN BROTHERS. "The purple Hot Dog" the 500 copies were sold in less then 2 weeks. We also Released the RAISON D'ETRE COMPILATION CD with first release from artists and bands such as THE NOISETTES, CHARLIE WINSTON, IROKO PERCUSSION, VENTRILOQUIST, and now we are producing SIZE NINE, DUSTAPHONICS, etc..
