Since Aristotle, man has organized his knowledge vertically in separate and unrelated groups---Science, Religion, Sex, Relaxation, Work, etc. The main emphasis in his language, his system of storing knowledge, has been on the identification of objects rather than on the relationships between objects. He is now forced to use his tools or reasoning separately and for one situation at a time. Had man been able to see past this hypnotic way of thinking, to distrust it (as did Einstein), and to resystematize his knowledge so that it would all be related horizontally, he would now enjoy the perfect sanity which comes from being able to deal with his life in its entirety.
It is possible for Man to alter his mental state and thus alter his point of view (that is, his own basic relation with the outside world which determines how he stores his information). He then can restructure his thinking and change his language so that his thoughts bear more relation to his life and his problems, therefore approaching them more sanely.
It is this quest for pure sanity that forms the basis of The Black Angels more>>>

Un des rendez-vous indie-rock de l'été. La Route du Rock est un festival organisé depuis 1991. Il se déroule en Bretagne au Fort Saint-Père à  Chateauneuf d'Ile-en-Vilaine ainsi que sur la plage du Sillon et au Palais du Grand Large à  Saint-Malo, durant la semaine du 15 août. à€ partir de 2006, La Route du Rock connaît deux éditions par an avec une Collection d'Hiver en février et une Collection d'été en août.

Radical Production

ANGERS 1989. Une paire de lunettes, quelques vinyls des Nomads, un DUT de gestion, la permission de sa maman pour aller trainer dans les concerts, Doudou comprit vite qu'il ne serait jamais guitariste des THUGS. Il devint leur manager. "Radical Hystery" cela sonnait bien, la société s'appellerait "Radical Production", facile. Puis Doudou devint tourneur : des Thugs forcément, puis des Mudhoney, puis de Nirvana, puis des copains des Thugs et des copains des copains des copains... Septembre 1991 Doudou est débordé. L'heure du BIG a sonné : le Big c'est RENE, grande gueule et perfecto. Astérix et Obélix. Un bon téléphone, un fax, ils inventent le booking militant décentralisé et du coup la tension monte tout au long des années 90. Et les romains ont du mal ! 1991 : Les RATS, Les SHERIFF, 1993 : THERAPY, L7, BECK, 1995 : FOO FIGHTERS, The JON SPENCER BLUES EXPLOSION, 1996 : PLACEBO, MIOSSEC, 1999 : LA RUDA, 2002 : THE WHITE STRIPES, INTERPOL... au fronton de la république Radicale efficacité, sincérité, fidélité s'affichent désormais depuis 15 ans, with guitar ? with guitar !
