Concert information

Review

Over a year has past since we first filmed Phoebe Killdeer, one of our first concerts. The show's rock solid now, the rock is seriously kicking and we were happy to be there before the Straws' 4 month break. Must check out the energy on stage with Phoebe's Janis-esque voice and Fuzzy Short's badass guitar riffs... as the combo successfully lights up the crowd. This band is definitely the most rock&roll band on Grandcrew.

Phoebe Killdeer and The Short Straws

It all started with mother singing my sisters and I go to sleep, on full moon nights the household just wasn t the same, a certain wildness would transpire all of us and things would stay that wayuntil the dawn cracked us clean again.

The dance classes at an early age determined the path I was to take later on. I was fascinated with the relationship between movements and sounds and always felt that they communicated through a language I could understand. Tom Waits got to me at the age of 8 and I ve been a constant listener ever since. People are my inspiration.

Phoebe Killdeer

The Café de la Danse is a great intimate venue in Paris (499 capacity including 250 seated). Technically, the sound design is flawless and the venue is very flexible, allowing you to modify configuration "à souhait". Right in historic Bastille area, the Café de la Danse is cultural and musical hub of Paris.

Private for the past 18 years, it's expanded its range of activites beyond concerts to other parts of the music industry. The Café is now not only a place to host great shows, it's also includes editing, promotion and manager activities.

Artistic open-mindedness, cultural curiosity, and proximity with the fans are all of the values of the Café de la Danse has tried to fight for since its creation and that the team strives for all year long!
