The Breton quintet from London is definitely hybrid. With a remarkable performance at the pioneering festival The Great Escape in Brighton and a planned perrformance opening for Is tropical on June 8th at the Point Ephemere in Paris, Breton also played last April 8th at the Gaité Lyrique. That's when we met their singer and chief experimenter Roman Rappak who answered our questions in a great franco-english mix (respect). Check out the video and his thoughts on surrealism, schizophrenia, paranoia, the mp3 generation, remixes and trilogy.

Breton
Breton began life in a warehouse somewhere in South East London. Born from the creative force of musicians and filmmakers - Roman Rappak and Adam Ainger - and expanded recently into a multi-instrumental and visual collective with the inclusion of Ian Patterson, Daniel McIlvenny and Alex Wadey.
