What could be more rewarding than being dubbed by his idols? Balthazar, quintet from Belgium, has been taken on tour with dEUS. While their debut album, Applause, is just released in Netherlands, Balthazar was in France on May 25th at La Flèche d'Or. We decided to met the two brains of the group, Maarten Devoldere and and Jinte Deprez.

Balthazar is an alternative pop band that has released their debut album "APPLAUSE" in Belgium and the Netherlands, march 2010

They anticipated their first album with gigs all over Europe and a tour in South Africa. “Applause” was released in Benelux and both the album as well as their live performances (Rock Werchter, Pukkelpop, Lowlands, etc. ) were received with much critical acclaim. They also won a Music Industry Award for Best Album 2010. 

In september 2011, "Applause" will be released in Europe.
