My Day was the funky touch of the last Nuits Zébrées at La Bellevilloise in Paris. Hard to stay insensitive to so much GROOVE! The crowd was all into the show, dancing to Day s crazy vibe. Mr Day should change his name to Mr Sunny Day so warm, soulful and fon-kay.

Originaire de Lyon, Eric aka Mr Day aiguise son sens du groove depuis les années 90: fondateur du groupe Kool Kats Club, il s'illustre d'abord sur la scène house soul avec son complice Pascal. Quelques EP plus tard, il rejoint le fameux label Acid Jazz, puis monte le projet Metropolitan Jazz Affair. Depuis 2001, Mr Day mène une collaboration fructueuse avec Patchworks, dont est issue la formation reggae soul The Dynamics ainsi que Trevor & Liza, deux groupes dont les titres funky à  souhait tournent sur Nova. Mr Day agite quant à  lui nos ondes avec son "Tears of Joy", et travaille actuellement sur un album solo, dont la sortie est prévue à  l´automne sur Favorite Recordings. more>>>

La Bellevilloise

Founded in 1877, La Bellevilloise played a leading role in the economic and cultural life in eastern Paris from 1910 until 1949. It is now a cross-over, protean place for all kinds of creative experimentations: performances, art exhibitions, fashion shows, and, of course, concerts ! With its four different levels, La Bellevilloise can welcome over 1500 people who can jump on the diverse sounds of Tony Allen, Jazz Liberatorz, Dj Suspect, The Toasters, Ali Shaheed, Roots Manuva, Bumcello, Poni Hoax etc. And if you just want to chill, take a coffee on the panoramic terrace or on the halle aux Oliviers.

Radio Nova "Nuits Zébrées"

Always INSANE ! French reference Radio Nova (101.5FM in Paris) kicked it in 2010 at the Bellevilloise. 3 stories of non-stop partying from 8pm when the concerts start downstairs to way late in the venue's cool labyrinth of rooms, used to the max by the Nova staff!
