The Sunset shapes Parisian jazz life since 1983, when it was created by Panam Fusion, an action group formed by the edgiest jazz fusion musicians of this time. Herbie Hancock, Jaco Pastorius, Didier Lockwood made the club history by throwing inspirational and rebellious jam sessions late at night. In 2001, the Sunset gave birth to the Sunside, dedicated to electronic jazz and world music while Sunside focuses on acoustic jazz. This two clubs form the vanguard of Parisian jazz life.
