The introducing of Gaspar Noé's Enter The Void copied by Kanye West and... Rihanna. Again2011-02-22 15:41:13
Is there a general lack of inspiration into the world of mainstream R&B? Or is it a trick to get the "buzz" bigger? Last week, the super-hype photographer David La Chapelle declared he sued Rihanna to have plagiarized ones of his most famous pictures in her "S&M" video clip. Now, Gaspar Noé's turn to see his good ideas copied in the new Kanye West's video clip, "All of the Lights", in which is featuring... Rihanna.
It's the famous introducing of Enter The Void, the last movie from the director of Irreversible, that's been copied. As in Noé's, the Kanye West video shows an amount of neon words appearing in an epileptic rhythm, with sometimes the same typography.
On Twitter, the condemnation of Kanye West and the video director Hype Willliams is pronounced, as shown in this capture by The Fader.

For his defense, Kanys West responds in a tweet that « context is everything... something good taken out of context can become bad ». So, it could only be a simple reference to the french director. The question now is to know if Gaspar Noé is that type of guy suing someone like Kanye West...
