Prefuse 73 about to release a "different" album on Warp. Tracklist & trailer2011-02-10 09:27:27

It's been a long time that we haven't heard something from Guillermo Scott Herren, aka Prefuse 73. Since an amazing 2009 year, when he drop out sevrals projects (Savath & Savalas, Diamond Watch Wrists), an EP and two differents under his name, he's back for a new album.

"The Only She Chapters" will be out on april the 26th on Warp, as usual, and promises 18 tracks with less breaks than before, merely playing with sound landscapes. He had been helped for that by the voices of Zola Jesus, Trish Keenan from Broadcast, Nico Turner from VOICEsVOICEs or Shara Worden from My Brightest Diamond.

Prefuse 73 seems to be quite shy with this release, like if he was afraid to shock or disapoint his fans. "This can be seen as a departure from other albums, but it's not a departure intended to leave people feeling alienated or baffled. It's just a different way to interpret my music, and it's an open invitation for anyone that wants to listen. The best way to listen to this record is to leave all expectations and comparisons at the door."
