Son of Dave, or Benjamin Darvill in real-life, is a singer-song writer from Canada. Before his solo project, he was part of the 90's band "Crash Test Dummies" in which he played guitar, mandolin & harmonica. In 2000, he became "Son of Dave". His goal: produce a 21st century blues tainted with Rn'B, soul and funk influences. Still armed with his harmonica, Son of Dave sings terrifically effective tunes that you can tell come straight from his heart and his guts. Old school but new school, unique.
