Mister Modo and Ugly Mac Beer paired a long time ago and combined their edgy and crunky hip-hop with psychedelic loops. The creators of Mo Dougly Weird Stories (feat. Mike Ladd, Thirdsight, D-Styles, MF Grimm, Monsta Island Czars) hit us this time with MODONUT, a respectful nod at Jay Dillas donut. The duo welcomed soul-jazz singer Jessica Fitoussi, her warm voice hued with a 70s French vibe.

Mister Modo est un défricheur sonore insatiable, qui emplit son son de boucles impropables et de beats lourds. Mac Beer, lui, est un technicien raffiné, enchainant les scratchs au fil de séquences folles et lyriques. Ce talentueux duo a fait appel sur leur dernier LP, Modonut (un joli clin d œil au donut de Jay Dilla), a Jessica Fitoussi, à  la voix jazzy et chaude.
