The release of John & Jehn's first album was welcomed with much praise by the english press... and the english know their indie rock! John & Jehn are french and they live in London. So in London that's John, Jehn, a guitar, a bass and a keyboard. Their influences are clear in their music: Gainsbourg, The Velvet, Nick Cave. No, they don't resemble The Kills or The White Stripes. No, they don't have a "formula" for success, no "concept". They're a couple in life, they love each other and want to spend time together! It's as simple as that. J&J also have a bit of punk in them, great writing skills and effective arrangements. So a great style and great music to go with it... John produces, Jehn follows (and sings). They're curious, eager and in a hurry: already one album out and the next on the way... Grandcrew can't wait!

La critique anglaise a encensé le premier album de John & Jehn et, les anglais en matière de Rock indie ont du goût. John & Jehn sont français et vivent à  Londres. Il y a donc à  London John, Jehn, une guitare, une basse et un clavier au service d un rock entrainant et épuré. Leurs influences transpirent leur musique : Gainsbourg, Le Velvet, Nick Cave, entre autre. Non, ils ne sont pas dans la lignée des duos rock comme The Kills ou encore les White Stripes. Là , pas de concept. J&J sont un couple dans la vie. Ils s aiment et veulent juste passer du temps ensemble. Tant mieux pour nous. J&J ont du punk dans le sang, de l amour, une complicité évidente, une belle écriture, des arrangements efficaces, bref du style et la musique qui va avec. John produit, Jehn suit (et chante). Ils sont curieux, gourmants et pressés. La preuve : à  peine le premier album sorti que devrait naître du couple le second ! Grandcrew est impatient !
