Bio:
Voice, originally from New Orleans, was born to a musical family. With a jazz-singer mother and a sister who's voice can be found on many hip hop compliations, Voice's music was pre-destined to be 50% jazz and 50% hip-hop. She has collaborated with MC's and producers from all over the world (amongst whom the french Wax Taylor), with a flow that can be sweet and sincere at times and powerful and rough at others. Often accompanied by Canadian producer and DJ Moonstarr, she tells stories of everyday life, however easy or hard it may be.
Enfant de la balle, la famille de Voice est originaire de la Nouvelle Orléans. Avec une mère chanteuse de jazz et une sœur qui pose sa voix sur des compil’ de hiphop Voice était prédestinée. Sa musique sera donc 50 % jazz, 50% hiphop. Après de nombreuses collaborations avec des MC et producteurs des quatre coins des US (elle a entre autre travaillé avec le français Wax Taylor), Voice égrène son flow à la fois doux, sincère et puissant (souvent accompagnée du produteur et DJ canadien Moonstarr) au service d’un leimotiv simple : Raconter la vie de tous les jours, qu’elle soit belle ou à chier.
